Moscow for Children Learning English
City. Quest. Challenge.
The “Moscow4children” project is designed for schoolchildren studying English and their teachers.
The main focus is on INTERACTIVE ENGLISH PRACTICE, which is sometimes lacking in schools. Every young participant receives plenty of opportunities to practice the language on any chosen route.
The project involves accredited guide-interpreters and qualified English teachers who love Moscow and know how to work with children. Routes can be selected according to language level, duration, location, and age group.
Special emphasis is placed on educational tour projects at the Darwin Museum, the Tretyakov Gallery, the “Cosmos” Pavilion at VDNH, and the venues of the Mosfilm Museum… All of our programs are original and allow young participants to take an active role in the creative process. Personal development and teamwork help students strengthen not only their language skills but also their confidence for future achievements.
Available program formats:
- 100% English
- 50% English / 50% Russian
- 70% English / 30% Russian
We have created the “Get Smart” intellectual club system. This format gives participants the opportunity for informal communication, as well as participation in quizzes and games aimed at reinforcing and improving the knowledge gained during our tour programs.
The project is headed by Oleg Petrov — an accredited guide-interpreter (Military Institute of Foreign Languages, Western Faculty), screenwriter, and English teacher (Dip.TEFL, Brighton, UK). He is the winner of the All-Russian Competition “Routes of Russia – 2019” and the National Award “Routes of Russia – 2020” in the “Excursion Route” category, recipient of the Grand Prix of the 2019 All-Russian Competition in the “Route Idea” category, finalist of the “Best Guide of Moscow – 2019” competition, and finalist of the “Show Moscow – 2021” competition.
Quite recently, our project became a partner of the Moscow City University in the field of “Theory and Methodology of Teaching English.” We will continue to grow and improve!
We are also delighted that our home Association of Guide-Interpreters, Tour Guides, and Tour Managers supports our project.
We warmly invite colleagues who share our passion for English to join our community!
